Karen Bashawaty is a Masters level psychologist with a specialty in EMDR (EyeMovement Desensitization Reprocessing), Interactive Guided Imagery, EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) and Radical Forgiveness. She has a private practice in Bloomfield Hills and also practices part time in Southfield at Southfield Mental Health Associates out patient clinic. Karen was first introduced to Radical Forgiveness after reading the "Radical Forgiveness" book by Colin Tipping and attending one of his workshops. She was able to instantaneously release a deep emotional block through one of the tools of Radical Forgiveness. She decided to become a Radical Forgiveness Therapy Practitioner in order to bring the same healing to others. She uses Radical Forgiveness to help clients release hurt and anger, heal the past and find a place of peace and love.

Karen enjoys working with her clients and assures them of a gentle, safe approach to their concerns and holds her clients in the highest regard. In her experience it is through the powerful force of love and forgiveness that healing happens.
